About Me

My name is Adnan. I’m a web developer who loves to create websites and web applications. My journey in web development began in 2013 with learning basic HTML and CSS. Soon after, I started working in PHP with developing custom themed WordPress sites. For the most part, I’ve worked in Marketing & Communications as a front-end developer.

The name, “The Slim Dev”, characterizes my efforts in trying to keep my code simple and clean. Additionally, since web related topics can be difficult to understand, I'm committed to explaining them as clearly as I can. (I guess I could have also gone with the name, “The Simple Dev”, but I don’t want you to think I’m too plain)!

PHP is still a passion of mine. So I intend to continue working with it alongside learning JavaScript and its powerful frameworks (ReactJs & NextJS).
